Don’t Be Afraid to Be A Resource
January 30th, 2009

I was inspired today by a blog posting from Drew McLellan titled: Share What You Know.
When I work one on one with my clients I have no problem being a resource for them.
- I help businesses with employee retention, performance, and leadership development.
- I work with individuals, couples, and small groups helping experience realizations that will allow them to take action and gain greater fulfillment in their personal and professional lives.
- I facilitate workshops for large groups of people on various topics.
- As a Realizational Speaker my goal is to get people to challenge the way they think.
When it comes to me promoting my ‘expertise’ and ‘throwing it out there’ I seem to struggle.
- Will people find value in it?
- Do I have the right to talk about it?
- What will people think?
Really . . . all if this is just BS excuses and barriers that may be the difference between great success or mediocrity.
Drew’s post is a great reminder of the importance of promoting our knowledge and giving our prospects a taste of what we offer.
