This guy makes us all look pathetic!

  1. Jerry from the Biggest LoserI’m too old.
  2. I’m out of shape.
  3. I don’t know how to do that.
  4. He/She won’t let me.
  5. It’s not my fault.
  6. I don’t have any time.
  7. You made me.
  8. I’m not smart enough.
  9. I’m not good enough.
  10. People will say . . .
  11. My friends will think . . .
  12. I can’t.
  13. I don’t like . . .
  14. I can’t afford to.
  15. Let me think about it.
  16. Let me talk to my husband/wife.
  17. It’s too hard.
  18. It takes too long.
  19. I’m too tired.
  20. I don’t feel like it.
  21. I work too much.
  22. I have kids.

The only difference between you and this guy is he finally got sick and tired of living the way he was.   He took control and made things happen.   When things got tough physically and mentally he pushed through it.  He stopped settling for average and status quo and the man changed his life.   At 64 years old . . . the man changed his life.  This guy weighed 370lbs and he was only on the show for two weeks.  He did it all at home.   He ridded himself of six diseases and multiple prescriptions.

I don’t care what you struggle with or what you are trying to accomplish in your life.    Find a picture of this guy and . . .

  • Pin it to the ceiling above your bed.
  • Tape it to your mirror.
  • Put it on the dashboard of your car.

He had every reason not to take action.  Too old . . . too out of shape . . . too unhealthy.

Whatever!

You know what they say . . .  “Excuses are like . . .

You know the rest!

Fantastic example! Our society has an excuse for everything it is refreshing to see an example of someone who finally had enough of it and took the necessary steps to get him into shape. The most startling fact, to me, is his actions towards better health beat 6 diseases in the process. That is truly amazing!

Jason I would agree it is things like this story that remind us we can do what ever we want if we really want it! We need to focus and go for it and not let our fears stand in our way! Thanks for sharing1
